Relieve holiday stress with Jesus’ mercy at an Advent Penance Service

As we enter into the Advent season, there’s no better time to go and receive the Lord’s mercy in confession. It is never wasted time to step away from the holiday stress and lay your worries and burdens at the feet of the Lord; take these Advent penance services as an invitation from him to do so.

Dec. 5:
Spirit of Christ Parish (Arvada), 5:30 p.m.
Assumption Parish (Welby) — Starting Dec. 5, the usual confession schedule will change to 7:45 a.m. – 8:10 a.m. Tuesday – Friday, and Thursdays from 5 p.m. – 6 p.m.

Dec. 6:
St. Jude Parish (Lakewood), 7 p.m. – 9 p.m.

Dec. 7:
Holy Cross Parish (Thornton), 6 p.m. (English and Spanish)
Christ the King Parish (Evergreen), 6:30 p.m.

Dec. 11:
St. Mary Parish (Greeley), 6 p.m.
St. Dominic Parish (Denver), 7 p.m. – 9 p.m.

Dec. 13:
Shrine of St. Anne (Arvada), 6 p.m.
Sts. Peter and Paul Parish (Wheat Ridge), 6:30 p.m.
Sacred Heart Parish (Roggen), 7 p.m.

Dec. 14:
Immaculate Conception Parish (Lafayette), 6 p.m.
Light of the World Parish (Littleton), 4 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
Our Lady of Lourdes Parish (Denver), 7 p.m.
St. Andrew the Apostle (Wray), 6 p.m.
Sacred Heart of Jesus (Boulder), 7 p.m.

Assumption Parish Triduum of Mercy — Confessions every morning from 7 a.m. – 8 a.m. and every evening from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m.

Dec. 21-23:
St. Thomas More Parish (Centennial) – 6:30 p.m.; also begins 40 Hours of Adoration, ending at 10:30 a.m. on Dec. 23

Dec. 22
St. Mary Parish (Littleton), 3:30 p.m. – 6 p.m.
