Seven nuggets of wisdom — and why you should pray the rosary!

As Catholics, we love our Momma Mary. She’s the Mother of God, the Help of Christians, the Queen of Heaven… the list goes on, but the point is: she’s great! Today, on the feast of Our Lady of the Rosary, here are seven quotes from holy people about the rosary — and why you should pray it too!

Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us!

“Never will anyone who says the Rosary every day be led astray. This is a statement that I would gladly sign.”
St. Louis Marie de Montfort

“Love our Lady and make her loved; always recite the Rosary and recite it as often as possible.”
St. Pio of Pietrelcina

“If there were one million families praying the Rosary every day, the entire world would be saved.”
Pope St. Pius X

“If you persevere in reciting the rosary, this will be a most probable sign of your eternal salvation.”
Bl. Alan de la Roche

“The rosary is the book of the blind, where souls see and there enact the greatest drama of love the world has ever known; it is the book of the simple, which initiates them into mysteries and knowledge more satisfying than the education of other men; it is the book of the aged, whose eyes close upon the shadow of this world, and open on the substance of the next. The power of the rosary is beyond description.”
Ven. Fulton Sheen

“When lovers are together, they spend hours and hours repeating the same thing: ‘I love you!’  What is missing in the people who think the Rosary is monotonous is love.”
Sr. Lucia of Fatima

“The Holy Rosary is the storehouse of countless blessings.”
