Sixth-grade students from Christ the King School, along with parents and teachers, joined the nonprofit organization A Little Help Nov. 8 to assist local seniors with household chores that they are no longer able to do for themselves.
Students grabbed rakes, squeegees and work gloves, and spent the day in the service to the Denver community. All middle-school students at the school are required to complete 36 hours of service each year during sixth, seventh and eighth grades, according to Principal Bernadette (Detty) Hensen.
