This Friday, April 11, you're invited to stand with thousands of Coloradans in defense of the sanctity of life!

The 2nd Annual Colorado March for Life will bring together individuals, families and faith communities from across the state to peacefully pray, rally and march for the protection of the unborn. This event will be a powerful display of our shared commitment to upholding the dignity of every human life, from conception to natural death.

The day will begin with a Mass for Life at the Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception in Denver at 9:30 a.m. The Mass will be a special time to lift our voices in prayer, asking God to guide our nation and state in protecting the most vulnerable among us. We know that prayer is the foundation of all action, and we will begin the day seeking God's grace to strengthen us in our mission to defend life!

Following the Mass, a rally will begin at 11 a.m. at the Colorado State Capitol. This is a moment to unite our voices with the many who share our pro-life values as we stand together with a diverse group of speakers from across the state, including medical professionals, religious leaders and legislators.

Keynote speakers include:

  • Dr. Marcus Button, board-certified family medicine physician, and his wife, Jennifer Button, founders of Button Family Practice

  • Jennie Bradley Lichter, president of March for Life

  • Lauren Castillo, Chief Revenue Officer of Bella Health + Wellness and Board Chair of Pro-Life Colorado Action

  • Reverend James Maxwell, pastor and president of the Rocky Mountain District of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod

  • Brittany Vessely, board member of Pro-life Colorado and executive director of the Colorado Catholic Conference

  • Tamra Axworthy, vice president of Colorado Pregnancy Care Alliance and CEO of A Caring Pregnancy Center Life Services and Women’s Clinic

  • Sister Mary Grace, S.V., Sisters of Life

  • Bishop Jorge Rodriguez, auxiliary bishop for the Archdiocese of Denver, who will provide a pastoral message and stand as a witness for the Church’s firm commitment to protecting life

The march will begin at noon, making its way from the Capitol. It will be a powerful witness to the belief that life is sacred and worth defending. It is a march of solidarity, hope and love—a call to action for all who believe in the dignity of the unborn and the need for legal protection for their lives.

The overturning of Roe v. Wade was a significant victory in the movement to protect life, but the work is far from over. Our efforts to ensure the protection of the unborn continue at both the state and federal levels, and this March for Life is an opportunity to remind our leaders and communities that we stand united in the belief that every life is precious.

Whether you attend Mass in the morning, join the rally or march with us, your presence and prayer are vital to this event. Together, we will give public witness to our commitment to life, and through our prayers and actions, we will continue to build a culture that values and protects all life.
