Last weekend, the Archdiocese of Denver was featured on EWTN News In-Depth. EWTN reporter Mark Irons examined the local synod and discernment process as well as explored the lasting impact of World Youth Day 1993 and St. John Paul II’s legacy here in Colorado.

Among those interviewed were Catholic schools superintendent Elias Moo, Executive Director of Evangelization and Family Life Ministries Andrew McGown, Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic School principal Sister Faustina and Shrine of St. Anne parishioner Susie Maurer. Each spoke about how the archdiocese has listened to the Holy Spirit and how the fruits of that listening are beginning to manifest themselves at our parishes and schools.

It just goes to show that the Lord really is doing something amazing here in the Archdiocese of Denver! It is a great testament to not only how powerfully the Spirit is moving among us, but also to the tangible fruits that are being born from simply listening to the Holy Spirit and abiding in Christ first and foremost, who we can be confident is guiding our mission as an archdiocese.
