No surprise Regis Jesuit girls are No. 1

The Regis Jesuit High School girls’ basketball team earned the state 5A title, with a 60-34 win over Fossil Ridge in the state championship game March 15. The team and coaching staff are pictured here following the victory at the Coors Event Center in Boulder. The Raiders, who have six NCAA Division I signees, finished the season 26-2 overall, 21-0 in Colorado, and were ranked no. 3 nationally by MaxPreps.com and no. 4 by USA Today. The following students were named to Continental League teams: Diani Akigbogun, Justine Hall, Kelsi Lidge and Anna Ptasinski (first team); Jess Lewis (second team); and Neffie Lockley and Jordan Molyneaux (honorable mention).
