Regis Jesuit High School begins search for new president

After nine years at the helm of Regis Jesuit High School, Father Philip Steele, S.J., will step down as president at the end of this school year.

The process has begun to find his successor, according to Charisse Broderick King, director of communications at the Aurora high school. The search committee will be chaired by Father Timothy McMahon, S.J., president of Arrupe Jesuit High School in Denver and committee members will include Father John Fitzgibbons, S.J., president of Regis University in Denver; RJHS teachers Catherine Cole and Adam Dawkins; RJHS board of trustee members Ellen Kiniry, John Sheridan, Mary Sullivan and Philip Vottiero; RJHS Council of Regents member Daniel McCallin; and Rick Sullivan, vice president of operations.

Candidates will be interviewed in October with a goal of selecting a president in November.
