Prepare your hearts for Easter joy at a Lenten Penance Service

Updated: Jan 4

As we journey through the Lenten season, there’s no better time to go and receive the Lord’s mercy in confession. It is never wasted time to step away from the hustle of daily life and lay your worries and burdens at the feet of the Lord, especially as we prepare to experience the joy of the Resurrection. Take these Lenten penance services as an invitation from him to do so.

March 13: Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish (Boulder), 5:30 p.m.

March 19: Immaculate Conception Parish (Lafayette), 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.

March 21: St. Augustine Parish (Brighton), 6 p.m. – 9 p.m.

March 27: Most Precious Blood (Denver), 7 p.m.

March 21: St. Peter (Greeley), 6:30 p.m. – 8 p.m.

March 23: Our Lady of Mount Carmel (Denver), 3 p.m. – 4 p.m.

If you would like to add your parish’s penance service to this list, please email editor@denvercatholic.org with your parish, date, time and other relevant information.
