Regis Jesuit shortstop named player of year

Regis Jesuit High School senior shortstop Max George fields a grounder during the Raiders’ 6-5 loss to Fort Collins’ Rocky Mountain High School in the Class 5A baseball championship game May 24 at All-City Field in Denver. George, an Oregon State University signee, was named Colorado Gatorade Player of the Year for the 2014 season. George is the first Regis Jesuit player to receive the award since it debuted in 1986.
