Timothy John D’Onofrio of Denver passed away on Saturday, June 24 of unknown causes. Tim was born March 18, 1983, in Denver to Norene and John D’Onofrio. He graduated from George Washington High School and went on to hold a wide variety of interesting and sometimes unexpected jobs. Tim worked side by side with his dad as a licensed insurance broker for over 10 years and for the last 7 years at our family business as an assistant chocolatier. Tim had a great passion for music, space, and his beloved cat Charcoal. He loved traveling with his family, especially to Disney World and Maui.

Tim lived with schizoaffective disorder for half of his life and at times experienced homelessness and struggled to cope with this devastating mental illness but worked hard to meet his challenges. Despite his illness, his kindness, quirky sense of humor, and sweet personality made him beloved by all. He is survived by his parents John and Norene, his sisters Julie (Jason) Meyers and Karen (Drew) Ziegler and his 6 nephews and nieces Katherine, Mariana, Alexander, Gregory, Benedict, and Joshua.
