Sister Deanna (Mariel) Randall, BVM died Friday, Feb. 1, 2019, at Caritas Center, Dubuque, Iowa. She was born on July 6, 1937 in Denver, CO to Lesley and Margery Pavela Randall. She entered the BVM congregation Sept. 8, 1956, from St. Charles Borromeo Parish, Oklahoma City, OK.
In the Archdiocese of Denver, Sister served as an administrator, director, and teacher at Cure d’ Ars and Montessori Child Development Center. She also ministered in Oak Park, Grayslake, and Chicago, IL; Clarksdale and Jackson, MS; and Bellerose, NY.
She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by a sister, Juanita (Ray) Johnson of Pine, CO, a niece and a nephew; and the Sisters of Charity, BVM, with whom she shared life for 62 years.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am -10:15 am on Thursday, Feb. 7, 2019, in the Marian Hall Chapel in Iowa. Sharing of Memories will be at 10:15 a.m., followed immediately by the Mass of Christian Burial. Burial is in the Mount Carmel Cemetery.
