The Dominican Home Health Agency is sad to announce the passing of dear Sister Ann William Berberich, OP on October 10, 2019.
Sister Ann William was born January 16, 1929 in Covington, Kentucky. She entered the novitiate of the Dominican Sisters of the Sick Poor on March 25, 1950, made her First Profession December 8, 1951, and Final Profession December 8, 1954. Sister earned a BS in Nursing and later on earned a degree as an Adult Nurse Practitioner from Metropolitan State College, Denver. Sister Ann William's ministry of nursing and health care has taken her to a number of locations throughout the country including Denver, Minneapolis, Bronx, New York; Dayton and Springfield, Ohio; and Detroit.
You may have seen Sr. Ann at the many Dominican Derby Galas she attended. At the 2016 Gala, she gave an impromptu speech thanking everyone for their generosity and encouraging continued support for Dominican Home Health Agency. There is no doubt this loyal and faithful servant is now in heaven. She will be sorely missed.
