Lend a hand this Back-to-School through Catholic Charities' drive

Updated: Dec 21, 2024

As the summer sun begins to set and the new school year approaches, Catholic Charities is preparing for its annual Back-to-School Drive, which is essential to low-income families and ensures that every child starts the school year with the tools they need to succeed.

While the average Denver parent spends $765 per student on back-to-school supplies, clothing and essentials, many across northern Colorado cannot afford to meet the needs of the season.

With the help of generous donors, Catholic Charities supports over 52,000 children. Whether access to supplies, clothing or transportation, community contributions help alleviate the stress that many families experience during this time of year.

Your support of Catholic Charities helps bridge the gap for families who may be struggling to provide for their children. Together, we can make a positive impact on the lives of countless students and set them on a path to success.

How can you make an impact?

$10 can provide crayons and pencils for a child beginning kindergarten. $25 can provide a middle school student binders and spiral notebooks. $50 can provide a backpack filled with essential school supplies. $100 can help purchase uniforms and clothing for a child in need. $250 can support a family with back-to-school essentials for multiple children.
