Give a hand up this holiday with Catholic Charities volunteer opportunities

As the old adage goes, “It is better to give than to receive,” and this embodies the Christmas season in a fire-roasted chestnut shell.

The joy of Christmas is not meant to be kept to oneself, and in addition to giving gifts to friends and loved ones, this time of year is also the perfect opportunity to also give of our time and talent. Colorado is blessed to have many different shelters and facilities for those who have come upon hard times — whether they be homeless, in a temporary housing situation or any number of other reasons — and they all see a greater need during the Christmas season.

Among these are Catholic Charities’ Samaritan House shelters, Marisol Homes, Marisol Health and more. With Christmas break right around the corner, why not use some of that downtime to go volunteer? Catholic Charities’s Volunteer Hub makes signing up for a day and time and breeze. Best of all, we guarantee you you’ll feel great spreading some of that holiday cheer!

So what are you waiting for? Find a slot to volunteer!
