Saint John Paul II Lecture Series – Unlearning Our History Lessons: Chesterton On History

7:00 PM - 8:30 PM

Dr. Dale Ahlquist, President of the Society of Gilbert Keith Chesterton, will speak about the great English Catholic convert G.K. Chesterton, who wrote about everything – including history. Dr. Ahlquist will explain how Chesterton’s marvelous insight and correctives are as important today as they ever were. Chesterton had a special gift for turning commonly accepted notions on their head, especially about the Catholic Church and its history.

About the Speaker: Dr. Dale Ahlquist is the creator and host of the EWTN television series, “The Apostle of Common Sense.” Dr. Ahlquist has authored and edited several books and is the Publisher of Gilbert Magazine. Additionally, he is a Senior Fellow of the Chesterton Library at Oxford.
