Award-winning pianist Marcelo Cesena will perform works from Chopin to Williams 8 p.m.-9:15 p.m. Dec. 6 in Founders Hall at the Center for Musical Arts, 200 E. Baseline Road, in Lafayette.
The “Wounded by Beauty” concert sponsored by the Crossroads Cultural Center features the Los Angeles musician named the 2013 and 2009 winner of the Brazilian International Press Award for the “Best Brazilian Musician Living in America.”
The national Crossroads Cultural Center was established by members of the Communion and Liberation movement, founded in the 1950s by Msgr. Luigi Giussani. The center hosts lectures, performances and conferences in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and other cities for those interested in exploring the relationship between religion and culture.
