The Year of Faith, declared by Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI that began Oct. 11, 2012 will come to a close Nov. 24 on the Solemnity of Christ the King.
At 10:30 a.m. Nov. 24 Archbishop Samuel Aquila will celebrate a closing Mass for the Year of Faith at the Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception in downtown Denver. There the archbishop will reflect on ways parishes and ministries throughout the Denver Archdiocese recognized the Year of Faith, and encouraged and inspired renewal in the faith through various activities and events.
